Important Information for Participants

The Thorold Santa Claus Parade is an exciting event that is only made possible with the participation and enthusiasm of the community.

It is free to enter the parade, all we ask is that each entry make a donation.  Donations can be food, toys, monetary - anything to help members of the Thorold Community that are in need.  As we celebrate the holidays, let’s take this time to offer assistance to those that need it.

There is no donation too small.  Every gift is valuable!

There are 5 categories for judging:

  1.  Best Corporate / Business Entry
2.  Best Elementary School Entry
3.  Best Secondary School Entry
4.  Best Community Group Entry
5.  Most Loved By Crowd Award

All judging is done by a panel of selected Parade Sponsors. Awards will be announced at the end of the parade. Judges are looking for appearance, originality, and enthusiasm of participants.
